Mr. S. ABILASH

He was born on 1985 to G.D.Sekar and Pushpalatha at Gobichettipalayam.

He did his B.Com at PSG Arts Coimbatore and MBA at IIPM, Mumbai.

Immediately after studies, he started the precious metal refinery unit by 2008 at Gobichettipalayam where he is refining precious metals like Gold, Silver, Nickel and Copper.

Also he takes care of his family business jewellery shop, Dhamu Chettiar Nagai Maaligai. After his entry, 4 new branches started at Anthiyur, Sathy, Avinashi and Thalavadi.

He has travelled 15 countries so far – inclusive of 3 business travel.

Achievements :

  • Swiping Machine – 0% charges ( both credit and debit card) – saving (24-25) – 70 lakhs (50cr swipe)
  • IIBX (India international bullion exchange) gold – 1% duty saved (1.60cr -24-25)
  • Branches – Corp office – Pillars forming
  • Diamond sales – 5 – 50 – 250 – 500 – 750 carat
  • Turnover – 650 crores (STR- 3gold, 5 silver)
  • ERP change – saving scheme app – 2cr / month

He is also active in social activities

  • He was as a president at ‘Y’ s Mens Club, Gobi during 2016-17. During this period he removed “Seemai Karuvelamaram” in more than 50 acreas at Nambiyur Vembandampalayam pond and more than 20 acreas at Gobi Municipalaity limits.
  • CSR activity – Dhamu Chettiar Nagai Maaligai – eye camps – Coimbatore Aravind Eye Hospital – more than 250 camps.
  • Donated 5 lakhs to Chief Minister relief fund during corona time.
  • More than 200 days (since Jul 2025) daily breakfast for 150 needy

He is married with Sridevi and blessed with 1 son Aarudhraa and 1 daughter Thansika
