To keeps pace with the rapid advancement in educational Technology, it is essential that teacher trainees acquire adequate knowledge and skill in the application of information technology in the Teaching learning situations. The Audio Visual laboratory is equipped with over- Head Projector, Epidiascope, 16mm Projector, slide Projector, Tape recorder, Television , VCP Camera, Video Camera, LCD etc.
The College has taken initiative in spreading computer literacy Computer Education is imparted to B.Ed students. The Computer Laboratory is functioning in an air conditioned room with 6 Computers and Internet facilities,and all other allied supporting systems required for a well-equipped and advanced Computer Centre
As Per the guidelines of the NCTE we have Established a Psychology laboratory in the college.Verbal, Non Verbal and Performance tests are available in tha lab.Students are given Practical sessions to familiarize themself with various psycological tests and obtain practical skills in their administration,scoring and interpretation.Every student is required to administer a minimum of six psycology tests and keep a practical record of these tests.
The Biological Science laboratory of the college as a good collection of both botony and zoology specimens,models of both botony and zoology ,Dissection box, specimen collection, equipments, herbarium collection, insect box,microscope and slides,related to high and higher secondary level. The Laboratory provides Practical Training to the Student Teachers on Differeent occasions.
Our college established a Mathematical laboratory to improve the mathematical skills of students. The main aim of teaching mathematics is to develop power of abstract thinking and reasoning. It helps in developing the rapid of verification in the students. They accept mathematical truths only after confirming their validity practically.In this Laboratory we have Junior kits of solid Geometrical Figures, Geometrical Instruments. Box, wall thermometer, Geo board. Abacus, senior kits of Pythagoras theorem, printed charts, theodolite model, optical square, cross vertical vernier, rain Gauge and vernier caliper.
The Student-Teachers get experience to do Physics and chemistry related experiments like UV Method, Sonameter, Meter bridge, screw gauge, titration and analysis tests etc This practical experience helps them to develop their skill of demonstration. In addition, they get knowledge about a proper physical science laboratory, maintenance of registers, storage of chemicals, laboratory accidents First aids, etc. the laboratory experience helps the students teachers to become an efficient science teacher in future and to develop interest in science manipulation skills and scientific attitude among their students.
